RAKOLL® hotmelt adhesive P2/650 is developed for use in edge banding machines.
This adhesive has excellent processing properties and melts and flows optimally. It is clean in use, without glue threads, and offers good adhesion.

Processing instructions
- The machine must be set according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
- RAKOLL® P2/650 can be processed in the usual manner. Good results are achieved under the following conditions:
- Room and material temperature: 18 - 20 °C
- Wood moisture: 8 - 10 %
- Working temperature at the applicator roller: 190 - 210 °C
- Feed rate: minimum 12 m/min
The feed speed must be at least 12 m/min to prevent the adhesive from cooling too quickly and not being sufficiently fluid to cover the entire surface of the edge strip. The strength and resistance of the adhesive bond depends, among other things, on the percentage of the joint surface that is actually glued.
