Characteristics:
Hranitherm 608.80 is a light beige EVA based hot melt adhesive, intended for use on edge banders with slow throughput speed or for manual applications.
The adhesive is characterized by high bonding strength.
- Brookfield viscosity (200°C at 27/2 rpm): 40,000–65,000 mPas
- Melt index at 190°C: 180–230 g/10 min
- Melting point (ring and ball method): 93–100°C
- Bulk density (at 200°C): 1.25 g/cm³
Suitable working conditions:
- Temperature glue bath: 160–170°C
- Temperature application roller: 190–220°C
- Feed rate: 4–8 m/min
