Characteristics of the pre-glued dowel
Grooved beech dowel coated with a layer of adhesive (polyvinyl acetate emulsion) that is activated on contact with water.
Use
The moistening of the hole depends on which type of boards (solid wood, various types of MDF, chipboard, etc.) are used as well as the manufacturer of the materials used.
It is advisable to always carry out preliminary tests on the material used.
Storage
The adhesives should be stored in a dry room at room temperature.
Pre-glued dowels are very sensitive to moisture and large temperature fluctuations, which have a negative effect on the processing of the dowels.
Keep opened bags always well sealed.
