ROB ACOLL 0811 SPRAY ADHESIVE

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

High quality aromatic-free universal sprayable contact adhesive based on neoprene rubber in Red and Transparent.

Certified according to: IMO Res.MSC.61(76)-(FTP Code), Annex 1 Part 5 and Annex 2, IMO MSC/Circ.1120 IMO Res. MSC.307 (88)-(2010 FTP code) Section.

APPLICATION :

Suitable for:

1. The bonding of rigid plastic sheets (HPL; such as Formica, Duropal), veneer, hardboard and plywood, mutually and on substrates of wood, plywood, chipboard and MDF.

2. The bonding of leather, rubber and flexible foam materials mutually and on wood, concrete, stone and metal.

3. The adhesion of floor coverings on stairs, stair nosings and plastic edges. Specially suitable for the adhesion of materials that must adhere immediately and where it is not possible to use clamps or a press, such as for example materials under tension or curved work, or objects that must be able to be loaded and processed immediately (e.g. production work). Not suitable for polystyrene foam, PE and PP.

PROCESSING:

Substrate processing:

The parts to be glued must be thoroughly clean, dry, and free of dust and grease.

Parts must fit well.

Degrease and derust metal.

Adhesive processing: if necessary, stir the adhesive briefly before use.

Tools:

Air atomizing spray equipment.

Equipment setup:

Air pressure 4 - 6 bar; material pressure approx. 4 bar, needle opening upper cup approx. 2.5 mm, pump approx. 1.4 - 1.5 mm.

Hot spraying lowers the viscosity, increasing the yield. Distance spray head to material approx. 25 cm.

Use a pressure roller or press to press the joint.

Clean tools thoroughly with THINNER immediately after use.

Application method:

Apply glue thinly and evenly to both parts (crosswise).

The edges of the treated surface must be provided with an extra layer of adhesive to achieve 100% coverage.

Processing conditions:

Do not process at temperatures below +10°C.

Since condensation formation can completely cause a gluing to fail, you must ensure that all materials and the work space have an equivalent temperature.

During drying, never place materials sprayed with SPRAY ADHESIVE Transparent / Red in a draft or in a room where water vapor or dust is present.

Open time: 5 - 10 minutes.

Consumption:

3-4 m2/L, applied on both sides, depending on the nature of the materials.

Instructions for use:

Apply both parts thinly and evenly and allow the adhesive to dry for 5 - 10 minutes before joining the parts together. Once the adhesive layer is still tacky (sticky) and no longer pulls threads when pressed with a finger, apply the materials directly in the correct position.

Caution: after fastening, shifting is no longer possible!

Materials can be well positioned relative to each other by placing a sufficient number of thin strips between the materials. Then remove the strips from the middle and rub the materials from the middle towards the ends. Avoid trapping air bubbles! After assembly, roll the materials as firmly as possible with a pressure roller. Pressing with hands alone is definitely insufficient. Short pressing with the aid of a press is also possible, provided the press pressure is evenly distributed over the entire surface and sufficiently high (pressing with clamps, where pressure is applied only to the edges, is definitely insufficient).

Pressing pressure: 0.5 - 5 kg/cm².

Pressing time (20°C): short, pressing pressure is more important than pressing time.

FEATURES:

Moisture resistance: good.

Temperature resistance: -15°C to +180°C.

Thinning ability: if necessary thin exclusively with THINNER. Frost resistance: good. If the adhesive has thickened as a result of frost, bring it to normal thickness by heating for a few hours at approx. +20°C. Chemical resistance: resistant to oil, bases and acids.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION :

Adhesive type: contact adhesive.

Base raw material: polychloroprene rubber.

Color: red or transparent.

Solid content: approx. 18%.

Density: 800 kg/m3.

Viscosity: approx. 0.2 Pa.s. at +20°C.

Vlampunt: K1, (<21°C).

SHELF LIFE SPRAY ADHESIVE:

Red/transparent may be processed until a maximum of 12 months after production, provided it is stored in a well-sealed package in a cool and preferably frost-free place. If the adhesive has thickened due to frost, bring it to normal thickness by heating for a few hours at approximately +20°C. Always process in order of receipt (FIFO).

CLEANING:

Adhesive stains can be removed with THINNER or CITRONEL.

PACKAGING:

1 liter, 10 liter, 25 liter, 200 liter, 1000 liter.

For this product an additional ADR surcharge from 25 € charged, also for free deliveries.

These are transport costs for the transportation of hazardous materials, as extra safety measures are required.

The ADR surcharge is charged once for the complete shipment, regardless of the number of hazardous products.
